The drainova® silicone cap, sterile protects against contamination and damage to the PleurX™ safety valve.
The soft silicone cap is held in place by simply clipping it onto the safety valve of the drainova® ArgentiC catheter and PleurX™ catheter. No additional locking is required for this purpose. It is replaced after each drainage to ensure hygienic drainage of pleural effusion or ascites.
