The ewimed Pneu-Pack family
The ewimed Pneu-Pack drainage systems are suitable for both permanent and short-term drainage of pleural effusions and ascites by gravity. Furthermore, they are used to exhale air in cases of pulmonary fistula or pneumothorax. The air can escape via the existing air release valve of the tire pack. The integrated Heimlich valve prevents air and effusion from flowing back to the patient.
A reservoir holder is attached for mounting the systems. The effusion drain valve allows the tire pack to be emptied.
